Medication-Related Osteonecrosis of the Jaw – AAOMS Position Paper – 2014 Update

The Special Committee recommends changing the nomenclature of bisphosphonate-related osteonecrosis of the jaw (BRONJ). The Special Committee favors the term medication-related osteonecrosis of the jaw (MRONJ).
